Finding & Using Open Education Resources

Our next Members Meeting is being held on 24th April at the Quality Scotland Academy in Edinburgh.

Our main speaker at this meeting is Pete Cannell from the Open University in Scotland who will give us some background to Opening Educational Practices in Scotland (OEPS).

Opening Educational Practices in Scotland (OEPS) is a sector wide project led by the Open University in Scotland that's looking at how the development of effective practice in the use of Open Educational Resource supports widening participation, transitions into education and between different episodes of education and training.

Pete Cannell (the co-director of the project) will look at some examples of the partnership developments that OEPS is working on and will discuss how some of the resources being developed through OEPS may be able to support new initiatives.
