Safety4Business, the Health & Safety Division of eLearning provider Learning Nexus, has had its popular Health & Safety courses approved by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

After a rigorous review by RoSPA auditors, all the courses in the Health & Safety range have received a RoSPA seal of approval, which recognises the quality of the content and demonstrates the organisation’s commitment to reducing preventable accidents in the workplace.

Research by RoSPA indicates that each year, about 14,000 people across the UK die as a result of accidents, and RoSPA, a safety charity, is committed to reducing this number. UK legislation requires employers to be responsible for safety training and employees’ safety and wellbeing in the workplace.

Rob Burgon, RoSPA’s workplace safety manager, said: “Learning Nexus has worked hard to produce courses that will make a difference to people’s lives. The prestigious ‘Approved by RoSPA’ mark assures training providers and their prospective clients that courses have been independently assessed and are deemed to embody best practice. We are delighted that Learning Nexus has successfully been through our thorough approvals process and can now use the ‘Approved by RoSPA’ mark with pride.”

Managing Director Ruth Howell said about receiving the approval; “We are delighted to have our Health and Safety range receive the approval from such a worthy and inspiring organisation. Coming after our acquisition of the Safety4Business brand, this not only demonstrates the high quality of our content but also our wider objective of providing effective and life enhancing eLearning solutions.”

The RoSPA approval is the second recognition for Learning Nexus, the first being The British Institute for Learning and Development (BILD) quality mark which was awarded last year.
