The Scottish Learning Festival 2017 takes place on Wednesday 20 and Thursday 21 September in the SEC, Glasgow.
The Festival provides high quality continuing professional learning and is a rendezvous for educational professionals, both nationally and internationally, providing a unique platform to engage with a diverse range of experts, colleagues and suppliers.
SLF is organised by Education Scotland and the theme for SLF 2017 is promoting excellence and equity for learners in Scotland through:
- empowering teachers, practitioners, parents, schools and communities
- empowering teachers, practitioners, parents, schools and communities
- strengthening partnerships, collaboration and networks to improve outcomes for children and young people
- building the professional capacity of teachers, practitioners and leaders
- fair and learner-centred funding
- responsibility and accountability at all levels.
Running alongside the conference is the largest education exhibition in Scotland, with more than 200 suppliers showcasing their educational resources and products.
